Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha disclosed that she was a transgender at the time she entered in high school. Sasha was faced with some challenges however she was confident that his family would support him and believed that music would help. Jim and Sasha, both songwriters, have recently become an official duo and have been playing at open mics and different venues around the city. Although The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he as well as Jim shared their life journey in an introductory clip played before their performance. Sasha and Jim talked about the music they love and how they first played guitar when he was six. His father is a musician instructor, making learning the art form easier for him. Sasha was a troubled teenager with gender identification. In an Instagram post he recently opened up about his struggles. Meanwhile, Jim overcame with emotion when he clarified the reasons why he was not able to be participant in those difficult moments. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a girl at the time she was born. Sasha Allen will be 19 year old by 2021. Sasha made public his trans identity during his first year in high school and began transitioning between male and female. Sasha posted on Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third transgender person trans gender to have appeared on the show. I'm so grateful to represent the trans segment of the community."
