Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (born November 8, 1985; height 5'3" (1,60 m)) is a Canadian actor, most famous for her roles for Andy Jensen on the TV series Kyle XY and Lacy Rand on the show Caprica. Apanowicz has Polish family roots, and was a resident of Poland for one year in her 9th grade school years. She attended her first class at the Vancouver Film School. In the age of 10, she began to become interested in acting when she watched Pulp Fiction with her brother. She started her acting career in 2002, making brief appearances in the TV show Jeremiah and John Doe. In Kyle XY, she played Andy Jensen between 2007 and 2009. The year 2008 saw her debut on The Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand who was a regular in the drama television series Caprica alongside Eric Stoltz. She appeared later in Hellcats. In 2012, she was a guest actor on the web-series Husbands. It was scripted by Jane Espenson. Apanowicz started her acting career in Continuum as Emily at the beginning of 2013.
